Welcome to Badrinath

Badrinath is a town located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the four sites in India’s Char Dham pilgrimage and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The main attraction in Badrinath is the Badrinath Temple, which is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River and is one of the holiest temples in Hinduism.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the 108 Divya Desams, sacred shrines for Vaishnavites. It is believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century.
